B’nai Shalom of Olney, a vibrant conservative congregation in the Washington D.C. metro area is looking
for a part-time USY Advisor to help lead our award winning group. The ideal candidate will be energetic,
enthusiastic and a positive role model for our 9th-12th graders. The advisor will be required to assist in
programming and attending monthly activities, coordinating and attending monthly USY Board meetings and
attending regional events and conventions under the direction of the Youth Director. The position also requires
teaching 9th grade one night a week. There will be additional pay for teaching. Past youth group experience
is not necessary, just a desire to foster a better life for Jewish kids. Advisors must have their own transportation.
