Temple Beth Sholom, a Conservative congregation in Sarasota, Florida, seeks a dynamic, energetic Youth Advisor for its USY program.

Description:

This part-time, flexible position requires evening and weekend hours for local chapter events, as well as, occasional overnight travel to regional events.

We are looking for someone who loves to spend time with teenagers and can help our chapter grow. Working closely with the Youth Commission and the USY Teen Board, the advisor will help develop and implement creative informal youth programming for grades 9-12.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and well organized, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and  demonstrate computer literacy for flyers and monthly news updates.

The advisor will keep staff, parents and youth members informed of all upcoming events.

Experience working with youth in a Jewish setting preferred.
