JYDA was founded in 1971 to assist the development of professionals in the field of Conservative Jewish youth work. We are dedicated to raising the consciousness of the general Jewish community to the importance of this profession. JYDA provides conventions and workshops that train Youth Directors and Advisors in group work skills, Judaic knowledge, child development, and developing creative and diverse programming.
